While many Bollywood celebrities shield their children from the constant attention of the media, Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, Genelia Deshmukh, have adopted a different approach. They allow their sons, Riaan and Rahyl, to interact with the paparazzi.
Riteish Deshmukh and his children are seen greeting photographers, demonstrating his open approach to media interaction.
Riteish Deshmukh recently discussed his views on the paparazzi culture and how he teaches his children to navigate it. He emphasized the importance of humility and respect in their interactions with photographers.
Deshmukh explained that his sons are active and frequently photographed while participating in sports and other activities. He believes it's crucial to teach them how to handle the attention without developing a sense of entitlement.
He tells his sons, "Getting clicked is an honour. When the paparazzi ask for pictures, you thank them for clicking and move on.” This, he believes, instills humility in his children.
Deshmukh also acknowledged that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting, especially under the scrutiny of the public eye. He respects the decisions of other parents who prefer to keep their children away from the media. "If people feel they don’t want their kids to be in the media, it should be respected," he stated.
On the professional front, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, alongside a star-studded cast. The film features Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Shreyas Talpade, and Johny Lever.
