Figure Drawing at the Huntsville Art League

The group meets every Monday at the HAL studio from 9am to noon. A clothed model

poses each week in different poses of varying durations. For the last Monday of the month, though, the model assumes the same pose for the duration of the class, to allow for more in-depth studies.

The classes are self-directed, artists use the medium of their choice, and any interested artist, regardless of skill level is very welcome. The group strives for a friendly, non-competetive atmosphere, with gentle feedback given only if requested.

The fee is $5 for HAL members, $6 for non-members

During a typical Monday morning, we may start with quick 1 minute gesture drawings.
