After the quick gesture drawings, the group then moves on to longer poses. These poses were about 30 minutes long. The sketches are ink and/or watercolor.

The last Monday of the month, the model assumes a single pose.

The model on the right is Jackie Nakamura, who loved to model for us. Despite advancing cancer, she would keep us in stitches with her wry comments and always cheerful mood. She especially loved this portrait, because it didn't show 'all her chins'.

She is greatly missed.
